NOTE ON THE OPERATION OF WHOLE NUMBERS
When adding two numbers the result is called "sum or total” example the sum of 2 and 4 is 6
i. e. (2 + 4 = 6). Augend + Addend = Sum/Total Minuend - Subtrahend = Difference Multiplier x Multiplicand = Factor x Factor = Product Dividend ÷ Divisor = Quotient, remainder left over if divisor does not divide dividend
